STAINED GLASS STAR

This simulated stained glass star looks pretty when the light shines through

Make a wish upon a star! If it happens to be daylight, you can still have a star handy by making this simulated stained glass star to hang in your window. It's also a great gift younger children can make very easily. The stained glass star pattern is inspired by the star on the cover of Dream.

Use crayons to color in the stained glass star pattern in a variety of bright colors. Choose colors that make the star stand out. Cut out the rectangular-shaped pattern.

Using a cotton ball, rub vegetable oil on the back of the pattern. Lay it flat, crayon side down, on a pile of newspapers to dry.

Once it's dry, you can tape the stained glass star in a window. It will look very pretty when the light shines through.
