NEW INITIATIVE IS GETTING STARTED

The Dreaming New Ways of Learning community initiative celebrates lifelong education that goes beyond boundaries and specialization, grades and age, politics and trends. It has been developed to engage students, involve parents, and reenergize teachers and principals. It's your chance to connect with others across the country to spark meaningful change in the ways we learn across our lifetime. This is a grassroots project – because all meaningful change starts from the bottom up.

This initiative started on an informal community level and is already encouraging change in communities, as well as catching the attention of national leaders. It's also a follow-on to our popular Web of Dreams initiative.

Charles E. Bennett Elementary School

Schools and families have found inspiration and ideas in the award-winning Dream book and in our LifeDreams program. Read
an article about Charles E. Bennett Elementary School in Jacksonville, FL. The school took a year-long, cross-curricular, school-wide approach to encouraging their students to dream and set goals.

Educator and Legacy Project Chair Susan V. Bosak will be sharing more about Dreaming New Ways of Learning soon. Until then, you can get the conversation started by submitting a learning message. Having students craft a learning message is a great way to start a new school year!
